Mrs. Linda L. Crase, age 61 of Hart, died Friday, January 29, 2010. She was born in Detroit on November 25, 1948 to Robert and Betty (Shields) McGilvary. On May 7, 1966, she married Kenneth Crase in Detroit. She was a nursing aide at the Nightingale Nursing Home in Sterling Heights, MI until her retirement in 1987. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Ludington. Her interests included reading, domestic housework, e-mailing her friends on computer and having coffee in Pentwater during the summer with her children. She also loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Crase of Hart; their children, Kenneth Michael (Fiancée Kathleen Silvey) Crase of KY, Robert Patrick (Fiancée Michelle McClelland) Crase of Hart, Tammy Lynn (Steven) Berry of KY; 3 grandchildren, Kenneth Michael Crase II, Alexis Corinne Berry, Madison Diane Crase; her siblings, Carol Hartsell of Fraser, MI, Marsha Pollock of East Point Detroit, MI, Robert McGilvary of Sterling Heights, MI, Michael Patrick of Fraser, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Crase will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Baisden officiating. Visitation will be Monday one hour prior to the service at the Tate-King Funeral Home.
