Linda Gayle Layman, 63, of Montague, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, at her home. She was born January 24, 1957, in Muskegon, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Ferrier) Kitchen.

Linda enjoyed being outdoors, talking with people, cooking, and jewelry. She loved to spend time with her family and dogs.

Linda is survived by: her fiancé, Robert Coulson; mother, Dorothy Barney; siblings, Denise (Roger) Greve, Mark Kitchen, Diane Tyler, and Connie Ruud; nieces and nephews, Eric (Angie) Greve, Rachel (Jake Genson) Menzock, Rebecca (Chad) Seils, Lesley (Dave) Mayette, Amy (John) Pruden, Nick Tyler, and Taylor Ruud; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by: her father, Harold; husband, John Layman; and brother, Brad Kitchen.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, November 20, 2020, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461.
