Linda Lee Miller, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, with her three daughters by her side. She was born February 3, 1945, in Muskegon, to William ‘Bill’ Hekkema and Maxine ‘Mickey’ Hekkema.
Linda graduated from North Muskegon High School. She enjoyed reading, camping, picnics at the beach, casinos, and playing cards with all of her card friends. Linda and her husband, Jerry Miller, owned and operated Hekkema Celery Farms with her brother, Marvin. She also worked and later retired from Howmet Corporation.
Linda is survived by: three daughters, Tracy (Curt) Smith of Ravenna, Tammy Postema of Whitehall, and Kim (Guy) Stanhope of Twin Lake; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Eric) Severence, Sarah (Randy) Woodring, Michael (Nicole) Smith, Guy James Stanhope (Lauryn Carr), and Dawson Postema; seven great-grandchildren; siblings-in-law, Joe (Pearl) Miller, Maureen (John) Huizing, David (Deb) Miller; special friends, Barb and Vern Carlson, Carol and Ron Mast, and Wynetta Danz; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by: her husband, Jerry Miller; parents, William and Maxine Hekkema; and siblings, Sharon Hekkema and Marvin Hekkema.
In accordance with Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
