IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa Dianne
Reed
August 16, 1977 – July 5, 2023
On July 5th, 2023, Lisa Dianne Reed left us unexpectedly. She was a mother to one, a sister, a daughter and a dear friend to many. She was kind and generous, loved the outdoors, and liked to try new things. She always gave others the benefit of the doubt and had the best laugh. The void she leaves is impossible to overstate. Lisa was born on August 16, 1977, to Walter and Doris Reed at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort, Michigan. She was into softball, sledding, and Sundays with her cousins at their grandma's house.
Many remember Lisa. Lisa attended Frankfort-Elberta Area Schools for all her years and graduated in 1995. She was a three-sport scholar-athlete for the Panthers and a band member. She spent her summers with her friends playing beach volleyball, swimming at Frankfort Beach, camping, and hanging out at Millers Landing (EZ Mart) in Frankfort. Upon graduating from FHS, Lisa attended Grand Valley State for a short period; she took an extended break from college to follow a different path of motherhood. Later in adulthood, she attended Northwestern Michigan College, where she became a Licensed Limited Practical Nurse. She loved being a mother to her son Bryan most of all.
Lisa is survived by: her son, Bryan Lovegrove; Mother, Doris Reed (Gunyon); Brother, Steven; Niece, Aliyah; Nephew, Steven Jr; and Daughter-in-law, Autymn Salvaggio
She was preceded in death by: her grandmother; and father, Walter.
