Miss Lisa Ann Veltman passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. She was born June 18, 1957, in Holland, Michigan to Robert B. and Joyce A. (Driesenga) Veltman. She worked at Progressions in Hart and made her home at Rose AFC residence in Shelby, touching many lives in both places.

Lisa is survived by her father, Robert B. Veltman of Mears, her sister, Sarah Jo (Eric) Robinson of New Era, and her nieces and nephews, Susanne Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Grace Robinson, and Rudy Robinson, also of New Era. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ann Veltman, in 1997, and her infant sister, Susanne Veltman. She will be especially missed by her friends and coworkers.

A memorial service for Miss Veltman will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. from the King Funeral Home with Fr. Sam Morrison officiating. The committal service will be held June 15, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from the Grace Episcopal Church, Holland, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be given to the Robert and Joyce Veltman Scholarship Fund at the Oceana Community Foundation.
