Obituary

Lois Jean Larson, born July 29, 1932, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2018.

Some of you may remember Lois as a hairdresser, or maybe you saw her as a St. Simon's Bargain Center volunteer, or possibly worked with her at Wolverine as a fabric cutter. Wherever you may have known her from, she always had a great smile for you and a hug, even if she just met you. Lois was very fond of fishing, crocheting, visiting with people, and in her younger years, snowmobiling and playing cards.

Lois is survived by: her son, Sheldon (Toni) Larson of Ludington, Michigan; and brother, Robert Paul (Maryanne) Yeager of Rockford, Michigan.  Lois is also survived by: granddaughters, Holly (Jerry) Case of San Jose, California, Kelly (Jose) Anaya of Ludington, Michigan; grandsons, Benjamin Murawski of California, Luke Murawski of Ludington, Michigan; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by: her husband, Wesley Nordine Larson; daughter, Vicky (Tom) Murawski; and grandson, Chad Murawski. Also preceding Lois in death were her brothers, "Bud" DuVall, James Yeager, and Hank Yeager; as well as her parents, Paul Yeager and Elverna (DuVall) Smalley.

A memorial service date for some time next summer around her birthday will be forthcoming.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
