Lori Ann Forbes, 60, of Ludington, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, at home.  She was born May 17, 1963, in Ludington the daughter of Richard and Mary Ann (Wojtaszak) Forbes.

Lori loved dogs and enjoyed volunteering at Lakeshore Animal Friends.  She also enjoyed volunteering at the St. Simon Bargain Center.  Most of all, Lori loved being an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Lori is survived by: her mother, Mary Ann Talsma; her daughter, Ashley Forbes; her granddaughter, Taylor King; her grandson, Tanner Horsley; and her siblings, William Forbes, Thys Talsma and Trena Talsma.

Lori was preceded in death by: her father, Richard Forbes; and her brother, Timothy Forbes.

A celebration of Lori's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Danish Brotherhood, 1014 S. Madison Street, Ludington.
