Lori Jean Manville, 58, of Rapid City, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  She was born September 17, 1962, in Saginaw, the daughter of Henry and Bernardine (Nowak) Smith.

Lori worked in the medical field as a credentialist.  She was the glue that held everyone together, whether at work or at home.  She lit up a room and was a fun person to be around.  She loved to cook and was known for her spaghetti sauce, which no one else could ever quite replicate.  Most of all, Lori cherished time spent with family and friends, especially with her grandchildren.

June 29, 2019, on their porch in Rapid City, Lori married Ralph "Jim" Manville who survives her.  She is also survived by: her daughter, Alicia (Dom) Flansburg of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Alexa, Matthew, Brody, and Collin; her siblings, Cindy, Dan, and Craig; her stepdaughter, Lisa (Zach) Emery of Traverse City; her step-grandchildren, Kaden and Macyn; and many friends.

Lori was preceded in death by: her parents; and her son, Benjamin Baker.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
