Louise Mary Petersen, 92, of Ludington, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at Ludington Woods Living Center.  She was born December 5, 1925, in Chestonia Township, the daughter of Niel and Louise (Krulick) Louiselle.

Louise worked as a bookkeeper for many years in the Ludington Area.  She was a devote Christian who attended Trinity Evangelical Free Church and Crystal Valley United Methodist Church.  In her spare time, Louise enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling and looking for Petoskey stones.  Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved cooking and baking for her family, and taking her grandkids out for ice cream, especially the trips to Dairy Queen.

Louise is survived by: her daughters, Sharron Alviar of Ludington and Charlene Miller of Ludington; 3 grandchildren, Scott (Trish Soberalski) Fugere of Scottville, Kandi (Edward Smith) Fugere of Ludington, and Jimmy (Anna Johnson) Ricklefs of Muskegon; 2 great-grandchildren, Daniel Fugere and Kadin Fugere; her brothers, Alan (Betty) Louiselle of Missouri and Richard (Sue) Louiselle of Traverse City; her aunt, Janet Louiselle of Charlevoix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by: first husband, Charles Wexstaff; her second husband, Robert Petersen; her son, Val Wexstaff; and her sisters, Barbara Kennedy and Jackie Benson.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
