Lyle Dwight Gale, 80, of Hart, joined his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Lyle was born April 3, 1938, the son of Newell and Fern Gale.

Lyle married Pat Pranger on January 19, 1957, and together they were blessed with 62 years of marriage and 4 children. Lyle owned and operated Gales Insurance in Hart for 46 years. He was very active in the community, serving on the Hart Rotary Club, Hart Jaycees, Oceana Agricultural Society and the Hart City Council. Lyle was also a volunteer for the Oceana Fire Department & Ambulance Crew. For many years he taught Sunday School and was a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Hart. Lyle was a hardworking, loving, caring man of God and will be deeply missed.

Lyle is survived by: his wife, Pat; children, Kathy (Pete) Roskam, Sandra (Tim) Hopping, Janice (Gordy Ziebart) Jett, Jim (Lesa) Gale; grandchildren, Calvin (Megan), Eric (Leslie), Miriam, Melissa (Mark), Nicole (Corey), Kristen (Dan), Brianna, Meredith, Nathan (Becca), Noah, Jonah; great-grandchildren, Knox, Fern, Finnley, Lorelai, Justin, Makayla, Audrey, Jase, Nora, Claire, Emery and Riley; and siblings, Douglas (Thelma) Gale, Mary Jo Slagle, Virginia (John) Dantuma and Katherine (Jim) Sobers.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Harrison, Erwin, and Gordon; sister, Nancy Spahr; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Noelle.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Shelby Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Baker and Pastor Elvin Harden officiating. The family will receive guests from 5:30 PM until time of services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Shelby Road Baptist Church or Oceana Christian School.
