Lynda Sue Morrison-Splitstone, 73, of Dimondale, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born February 14, 1949, in Fremont, the daughter of Fred Colbert and Emolue (Morton) Hamlin.

One of Lynda's greatest joys was the outdoors; she enjoyed going for strolls and car rides, gardening, golfing, and sitting around a warm campfire. Lynda also had an exceptional love for her family, and spent a lot of her time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She retired from General Motors after more than 30 years of dedicated employment.

Lynda is survived by: her husband, Robert Harry Splitstone Sr.; children, Tracy (Troy) Braman, Nichole (John) Morence, and Scott (Nicki) Morrison; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betsy (Emery) Tinkham, Cindy (Dan) Sovinski , Sandy Maynard, Anthony (Tammy) Colbert, Julie (Rich) Lattin, and Bruce (Amy Culp) Tinkham; special friends, Paul Hill and Roger Sparks and his family; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynda was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Robert Harry Splitstone Jr.; brother, Gregory (Rosie) Colbert; brother-in-law, Gregory Maynard; and step-father, Harry "Pappy" Tinkham.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Maple Grove Cemetery, 804 S Division Avenue, Fremont, MI 49412.
