Mrs. Lynn Kay Parker, age 71, of Ludington, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at her home. She was born February 19, 1945, in Hart to Ivan and Marjorie (McLain) McClellan. She graduated from Scottville High School and married James G. Parker on October 21, 1965 in Ludington; they were married for fifty years. Lynn was employed at Wal-Mart in Ludington for eighteen years and was very active in her community. She was a member of Mason County Reformed Church, former member of the Pere Marquette Township Planning Commission, Mason County Victims Assistance Unit and a 4-H leader. Lynn was also active in the Mason County Relay for Life, enjoyed doing crafts and also enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren.

Lynn is survived by her husband: James G. Parker; two daughters, Sherry (Roger) Berndt of Scottville and Sue Parker of Ludington; one son, James (Shawn) Parker of Ludington; eleven grandchildren, Amanda (Travis) Palmer, Julie (Kent) Knudsen, Pauline (Brandon) Manning, Diamond Berndt, Gary Berndt, Peter Berndt, Breanna Parker, Seth Parker, Xaylee Hunter, Tianna Parker, and Darnel Hunter; two great grandchildren, Brianna Palmer, and Braden Palmer; and one brother, Dean (Shelley) McClellan of Ludington. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Parker will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 11:00 am at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Ludington with Pastor Todd Bush and Pastor Seth Bush officiating. Interment will be in West Riverton Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Ludington. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the King Funeral Home to aid the family with final expenses.
