Marc R. Anderson, Jr., 44, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026in Traverse City

Marc was born on November 27, 1981, the son of Marc R. & Teri (Flanders) Anderson Sr. He was raised in Elk Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Elk Rapids High School. He began working at a very young age in the family's lawn care business, Anderson's A to Z Inc. He dedicated more than 30 years to the family business before pursuing his dream of owning and operating his own lawn care company for the past several years. Marc was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to help others.

Above all, Marc cherished his family. He was a loving father to his three daughters, Olivia, Savannah, and Kennedy, who were the greatest joy in his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, Marc (Floyann) Anderson Sr.; his brothers, Daniel (Tanya) Anderson and Jesse (Jennifer) Anderson; his grandmothers, Jean Hanson and Cleo Anderson; his stepsiblings, Ashley Bokon, Jamie Bokon, Johnny Bokon, and Andy Bokon; along with his nieces and nephews; Trenton, Talon, Allie, Amber and Avery and extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Marc was preceded in death by his mother, Teri Anderson; his grandfather, Bob Anderson; and his step grandfather, Phil Hanson.

The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support they have received during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 1-4 PM at the Old Milton Township Hall, 7268 Cairn Highway, Kewadin, Michigan 49629.
