Margaret "Peggy" Ann Johanson, 93, of Mears, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at her home. She was born July 29, 1930, in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph and Anastasia (Sullivan) Fisk.

Peggy was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School, class of 1948. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, boating, and she enjoyed her beautiful view of the lake from her home.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Deb (Bob) Itell; grandchild, Shannen Itell; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved pet, Panda; and close friends, Dave and Laura Curtin, Irene and Craig Nycamp, and Leigha Marciniak.

Peggy was preceded in death by: her parents, Ralph and Anastasia Fisk; her first husband, Gordon Schipper who passed June 4, 1994; her second husband, Ralph Johanson who passed December 6, 2022; and siblings, Robert Fisk, Mary Lou Hasara, and Betty Jo Morrison.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 214 South Peach Street, Hart, MI 49420, with Fr. Phil Sliwinski presiding. Visitation will be held Friday, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Mears Cemetery.
