Margaret (Margie) Mary Hullinger, 63, a life-long resident of Ludington passed away peacefully Thursday, January 31, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Margie was born on February 3, 1955 to the late Margaret and Harold Lemire.  Margie was also preceded in death by her step-mother June Shinsky Lemire.  Margie graduated from Ludington High School with the Class of 1973 and married the love of her life, Rod Hullinger, on September 29, 1973.

Margie positively influenced many people over the course of her 63+ years of life.  She had the kindest and most welcoming spirit, treating everyone as they were her very own.  Her smile and generosity will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margie is survived by: her husband, Rod; son, Trevor (Dana) Hullinger; and 1st granddaughter to be born this summer; in-laws, Joan and Don Hullinger; sister-in-law, Deb Dunaway; sister, Frankie (Tom) Tomczak; brother, Jim Lemire; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, 309 S. Washington Avenue, Ludington, with Father Wayne B. Wheeler presiding.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.
