Mrs. Margaret Louise "Peg" Schey passed away Saturday morning, December 13, 2008, two days before her 87th birthday. She was born in Findlay, OH on December 15, 1921 to R. Orville and Helen Marie (Foster) Powell. Mrs. Schey was a member of Hart United Methodist Church and the Hart VFW Post 1329 Ladies Auxiliary. On August 21, 1943, Peg married Paul Thomas Schey and they were married for 62 years before he preceded her in death in March of 2006. She is survived by her 3 children, Dave and Sandy DeWall of Grand Haven, Steve and Joan Schey of Billings, MT and Todd and Nancy MacLean of Kent City; 7 grandchildren, Jamie and Courtney Stahl, Jason and Meghan DeWall, Kevin Schey, Russell Schey, Garrett MacLean, Matthew and Rachael MacLean and Dana MacLean; 1 great grandson, Zane and 1 sister, Sue Marie Thompson. In addition to her husband, Peg was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Andrea Schey and 1 brother, R. Orville Powell, Jr. The Memorial Service for Mrs. Schey will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Lester officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Ottawa or Hart United Methodist Church.
