Mrs. Margaret Mary Sniegowski, age 86, of Ludington, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was born March 27, 1928, in Ludington to Edward and Frances (Zeber) Dutchkowski. At a young age, she was employed at her father's grocery, E. Dutch & Company. Margaret graduated from St. Simon High School with the Class of 1945 and was a faithful member of St. Simon Catholic Church. She was united in the Sacrament of Matrimony with Thomas Sniegowski on October 21, 1953, at St. Simon Catholic Church.

Margaret is survived by three daughters: Martha Hamilton of Ludington, Kathy (Tom) McCumber of Grand Rapids, MI, Mary (Don) Albrecht of Ludington; three sons: John (Christy) Sniegowski of Ludington, Tom (Susan) Sniegowski of Ludington, Tim Sniegowski of Ludington; ten grandchildren, Andy Hamilton, Dan Hamilton, Jeff Hamilton, David McCumber, Laura McCumber, Adam Sniegowski, Luke Sniegowski, Nicole (Steven) Castonia, Jennifer Albrecht, Dylan Sniegowski; Great Granddaughter, Addison Castonia; sister-in-law, Alice VanderVeer; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas on August 26, 2010; sister, Virginia (Palmer) Carlson; brother, Edward Dutchkowski, Jr; also a host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Sniegowski family.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Sniegowski will be offered Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 11:00 am from St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Wayne B. Wheeler, Jr. presiding. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment will be in Pere Marquette Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Alzheimer's Association, West Shore Region, 1740 Village Drive Ste. 336, Muskegon, MI 49442; the Pere Marquette Cemetery Fund, or to the charity of choice.
