Maria Judith Gonzalez, age 54, of Hart, passed away January 30, 2011 at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. She was born March 31, 1956 in Manzanillo Colima, Mexico to Miguel Cruz and Josefina Cruz.

She married Telesforo Gonzalez on June 15, 1983 in McAllen, Texas. She worked most of her life as a farm laborer. Maria attended St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Hart.

Mrs, Gonzalez is survived by her husband, of twenty-seven years, Telesforo Gonzalez; five children, Jose (Yessica) Andaverde of Shelby, Juan (Richell) Andaverde of Ludington, Judy (Alan) Gonzalez-Hernandez of San Juan, Texas, Javier Gonzalez of East Lansing and Michaelangelo Gonzalez of Hart; eleven grandchildren, Leslie, Juanito, Samantha, Bianca, Maricruz, Jose Luis, Andres, Sophio, Emmanuel, Ezquiel Andaverde and Jasmine Hernandez; brothers and sisters, Raquel Segura, Josefina Segura Hernandez, Consuelo Segura Lopez, Leonor Segura Berraza, Francisca Maria Segura, Jose (Pepe) Dimas Segura, Norberto (Beto) Segura, Martin (Mortin) Avalos Segura, Guadalupe Avalos Segura, Felicia Avalos Segura, Alejandra Segura and Pedro (Pipa) Martin Agualos.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Maria A. Segura Ramirez.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gonzalez will be held Friday, February 4, 2011 – 11 am at King Funeral Home in Hart with Sister Marie Guadalupe Moreno officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
