Marie Beatrice Califf, 68, of Rothbury, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  Marie was born July 23, 1949 to Irving and Lillian Shaffer.

Marie was a homemaker and worked hard to raise her 3 children. Family meant the most to Marie. She enjoyed hunting, dancing, fishing, bowling, cookouts and celebrating birthdays. She was a loving, fun, caring woman and will be deeply missed.

Marie is survived by her children, Pam (Jeff) Weesies, Connie Welch and Billie (Heather) Welch Jr.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jacob, Hollis Jr., James, Hunter, Joseph, Billie III and Samuel; great-grandchildren, Payton and Brentley; and father of her children Billie Welch Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Califf; brother, Roger; and her parents.

In keeping with her wishes a private funeral service will be held.
