Marie Anne Sheldon, 91, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. She was born July 12, 1929, in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Mario and Sylvia (Abbondi) Grande.

Marie was a Medical Librarian at Bailey-Seton Hospital on Staten Island, retiring after 33 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved to socialize.

Marie is survived by: her children, Edwin Sheldon Jr., Linda (Daniel) Mannor, and Robert (Cathi) Sheldon; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

On June 25, 1949, on Staten Island, Marie married Edwin J. Sheldon Sr., and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Sylvia Grande.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 North 72 ^nd Avenue, Hart, MI 49420.
