Marilyn June Anderson, 95, of Whitehall, passed away on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. She was April 1, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Wilfred and Oriole (Squire) Myrmel.

She attended the University of Colorado and graduated from Augustana Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1952. She married Richard Donaldson and Delmar Greer, who precede her in death. She moved to Whitehall in 1966, taught nursing, and worked in the surgical department at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. After retiring, she married Herbert Anderson and enjoyed travelling, handcrafting, cruising, and wintering in Florida.

Marilyn is survived by: her children, Cathy (Lanny) Hartman of Baldwin, MI, William Greer of Ada, MI, and Douglas Greer of North Muskegon; step-children, Marta (William) Baden of New Orleans and Kristan (Charlie) Dahms of Santa Ana, CA; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and a niece, Kimberly (Jim) Brodnicki of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by: her husbands; her parents; her brother, Rolland (Phyllis) Myrmel; and her daughters-in-law, Stephanie Greer and Barbara Greer.

In accordance with Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place.
