Ms. Marion Rose (Monczunski) Haynes, age 73, of Ludington, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home. She was born May 6, 1943, in Custer to Michael and Marian (Misunas) Monczunski.  Marion was a homemaker, holding near and dear to her heart her family, extended family and her friends.  She enjoyed being outdoors mushrooming or camping and always was fond of taking a day trip to Manistee where she worked to enhance her gaming skills.

Marion is survived by her loving spouse, Steven Darknell; three sons, Claude A. (Kim) Haynes, Jr., Craig (Kristina) Haynes, Curtis (Myrtie) Haynes; eight granddaughters, Chassidy, Courtney, Jessica, Madison, Lillian, Olivia, Payton & Paisley Haynes; 6 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Catt, Teresa (David) Henrichon; two brothers, Ted (Betty) Monczunski, Michael T. Monczunski; loving friend and caregiver, Lynda Schippers and Anna Marr; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jack, Jerry and Bill Monczunski.

The Funeral Service for Ms. Haynes will be Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 12:00 pm at King Funeral Home in Ludington with Pastor Tim Yankee officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4:00pm – 6:00 pm and Saturday February 25, 2017 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at King Funeral Home in Ludington.
