Marsha Ketring, 71, of Whitehall, Michigan, passed away October 17, 2017. She was born January 20, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Russel and Kathryn Carr.

Marsha attended Fairborn High School in Fairborn, Ohio. It was there that she met her high school sweetheart, Kerry Ketring.  On June 3, 1967, they were married. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio and began her teaching career at Beck Elementary in Columbus, Ohio, while Kerry attended The Ohio State Veterinary School of Medicine.   She retired from teaching to raise her family and help her husband open The All Animal Eye Clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked alongside Kerry for many years, helping him with his practice, editing his books, and organizing his lectures. She was active in the Veterinarian Alumni Association. Marsha enjoyed traveling, playing cards, reading, and Ohio State football. She was a loyal, caring, thoughtful, forgiving, loving, hopeful, understanding, intelligent woman. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

Marsha is survived by: Kerry, her husband of 50 years, "YATBTTEHTM"; children, Emily (Dan) Smith and Jeff Ketring; grandchildren, Alexie, Braeden, Caitlynn, Cassie, Tyler, Codie, Jordan, and Lindsey; brother, Michael (Mary Jane) Carr; and sister, Cathy Carr King.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life open house will take place from 9:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service - White Lake Chapel, 413 S. Mears Avenue, Whitehall, Michigan 49461.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
