Martha Annette Haselton, 81, of Traverse City, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  She was born May 26, 1939, in Cedar, the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Vert) Wisniewski.

Martha graduated from Traverse City St. Francis High School in 1958.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and passed her strong faith along to her family.  For 31 years, she worked at Oleson's (Hamond & Three Mile), starting as a cashier before working her way up to manager; she retired in 2018.

Martha loved to stay fit and active, visiting the gym several times per week.  She also loved to garden and read, and she was a big fan of Mickey and Minnie Mouse.  Most of all, Martha loved her family, and she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Martha is survived by: her children, Aloray (Bill) Haselton, Patrick "Rick" Karen Haselton, Jodi Ann Haselton, Andrew (Tracy) Haselton, Amy Lynn Haselton, and Dean (Sandy) Haselton; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by: her husband and the father of her children, Byron Haselton; her parents; her sons, Scott Haselton and Steven Haselton; her brothers, Edward and Richard Wisniewski; and her honey, Gary Prentice.

Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1025 S. Union Street, Traverse City, with the Reverend Mitchel Roman celebrant.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to the Father Fred Foundation.
