Marvin Emmet Maue, 82, of Twin Lake, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. Marvin was born on September 28, 1935 to Emmet and Helen Maue.
Marvin worked for the Paper Mill in Manistee and also at Muskegon Piston Ring. In 1957, he married the former Jacquelyn Hanson and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. Marvin enjoyed reading, WWE, going for walks, working on cars, wood-working and he was an excellent marksman. He was a strong-willed, logical, intelligent, tender-hearted perfectionist. He will be deeply missed.
Marvin is survived by his wife Jacquelyn; children, Rodney Maue, Roger (Kim) Maue, Robin (Jeff) Deno, Rosalyn Maue and Robert Maue; grandchildren, Grant, Abbygayle, Anthony, Nicholas, Gabriel, Holly, Jessica, Deana, Jacob, Jacquelyn, Joshua, Nathaniel, Branden and Ashley; 8 great-grandchildren; brother William (Norma) Maue.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, 413 S. Mears Ave with Pastor Mike Harrison-Haefner officiating. The family will visit with guests 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
