Mr. Marvin Joseph Suchy, age 93, of Pentwater, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Poppen Hospice House. He was born September 10, 1923, to John and Anna Suchy. He was a self-employed mechanic and had farmed. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church, Pentwater.

He was a US Army Veteran serving in WW II with the 101st Airborne Division. Marvin was a member Oceana Eagles, Pentwater VFW Post 6017, Hart American Legion Post 234, Pentwater Township Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and tinkering with things and repairing items.

Marvin is survived by two daughters: Diane (Allen) Dobrowolski of Fruitport, MI and Helen (Terry) Cloud; four grandchildren, Lloyd Cloud, David (Lori) Cloud, Julie (Tim) Desmit, Lisa (Corey) Perdaris; two great grandchildren Jett Desmit, Venia Desmit. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Helen Suchy on June 26, 2011.

The Graveside Service for Mr. Suchy will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 11:00 am at Pentwater Township Cemetery with Fr. Phillip Sliwinski presiding. Interment will be in the Pentwater Township Cemetery with Military Honors by the Pentwater VFW Post 6017.
