Mary Marie Farnham beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2025 at the age of 73. She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Gary and together they are reunited in eternal peace.

Born on January 19, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, Mary lived a life filled with love, faith, laughter and devotion to her family. She was a woman of unwavering unselfishness, always finding ways to love, support and care for others. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her heart into caring for them, especially her cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Mary had a kind and giving spirit, always putting others before herself. Whether offering a comforting word, a warm meal, or a loving embrace, she made sure everyone around her felt valued and cared for. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on through the lives she touched. Mary's tenacity for life kept everyone on their toes and will be remembered with a chuckle and a "don't mess with Little Mary".

She is survived by her loving children, Jessica (Justin) and Marcus (Angela), her adored grandchildren, Kameron, Maddie, Kendra, Emma, Mac and Natalie and many dear family members and friends who will miss her deeply. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with her Gary and embraced in God's eternal love.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Gary, brother Bill, sisters Bonnie and Madelyn, parents Elsie and Percy VanBuskirk as well as other loving family and friends.

A memorial service and time of gathering will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service - Covell Traverse City Chapel, 511 S Garfield Avenue, Traverse City 49686 beginning at 10:00 AM with a service time of 12:00 PM. Light refreshments will be provided.
