Mayra Ivonne Rivera Agosto, 65, of Maple City, passed away peacefully with the Lord in her heart, Sunday, July 11, 2021, with loved ones by her side.  She was born June 28, 1956, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Gaylord Kyser and Edith Agosto de Kyser.

Mayra graduated from Glen Lake Community Schools and furthered her education at Western Michigan University, graduating with a degree in Fine Arts.  She worked as a freelance graphic designer in addition to maintaining other employment.

Mayra is survived by: her mother, Edith Agosto de Kyser; her brother, César Rivera Agosto; her sister, Ruth Rivera (Wendell) Buell; her step-niece, Anna (Aric Anagnost) Buell; her step-nephew, Josh (Sami) Buell; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mayra was preceded in death by: her father, Gaylord Kyser; her grandmother, Mariana Falcón Hernández; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private interment will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery in Maple City.  Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Mt. Zion Family Worship Center in Traverse City.
