Michael Scott Hardenburgh, 46, of Norton Shores, passed away Saturday September 5, 2026. He was born May 22, 1980, the son of Michael Louis Hardenburgh and Rebecca Jo (Lathrop) Neuville.
Michael worked as a warehouse manager for Premier Foods for 28 years. He was a hard worker who was very valuable to the company. Everyone who worked with Michael enjoyed being around him.
He enjoyed time spent with his children and family. He was very proud of all his children. He loved fishing and his favorite vacation was deep sea fishing with his sister and her family in Alabama. He loved collecting sports memorabilia and he had a passion for the Detroit Lions, he was waiting for a Super Bowl win! He also participated in Fantasy Football with his older sons. Michael had a great sense of humor and he was very spontaneous with a joke; he was loved by so many people for his funny side and would lend a helping hand to anyone that asked.
Michael is survived by: his five children, Ethan, Roman. Jorga, Cole and Harper; father, Michael (Linda) Hardenburgh; mother, Rebecca Neuville; sister, Heather (Ty) Whitaker; brother, Adam (Nicole) Hardenburgh; brother Jeffery Mangels; grandmother, Geraldine Mosley; Uncles, Melvin “Butch” (Dena) Lathrop, Randall (Becky) Lathrop, Michael Heimann, Chuck (Carole) Heimann; Aunts, Judy (Terry) Bridges. Julyn Harris, Laurie (Scott) Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by: his Grandfather, Charles William Mosley and Stepfather Tony Neuville.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461, with Pastor Ron Rands presiding, visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM, and a graveside service will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Montague, at 3:00 PM. Following all services, the family invites you to join them for time of sharing memories at White River Township Hall located at 7386 Post Road Montague.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
