Michael Allen Harris, 57, passed away unexpectedly. Michael was born December 19, 1964. He married Lisa Andrew on September 2, 1989, and they raised two children, Jacob and Jessica Harris.

Mike was an avid outdoorsman from the time he was a small child. There was rarely a time when you would find him without a rod or gun. Mike was a high school athlete where he showed an aptitude for wrestling and baseball, and was known as the "Viking Viper" in football.

After graduating from Whitehall High School, Mike moved to Florida where he learned his trade of roofing. He moved home in 1988 to be closer to his family. He started his own business of Harris Brothers Construction. Mike continued to show his love for sports by coaching little league baseball.

Mike is survived by: his children, Jacob and Jessica Harris; siblings, Dale Harris, Beth (Chris) Austin, and Linda (Joe) Kelly; as well as nieces and extended family.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Alburtle E. and Sally A. Harris.

A memorial luncheon will be held from 2-5 PM, Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the White Lake Eagles, 1204 South Lake Street, Whitehall, MI 49461.
