Michael Jones passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born November 29, 1964, at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Mike grew up following his military family to England, Massachusetts, California, Maryland, Virginia, Hawaii, Germany, and Michigan, graduating from Whitehall High School in 1984.

Mike had led an adventurous life Kite boarding instructing in Key West, Florida, and white water rafting guiding, in West Virginia and Washington State. He also worked on cruise ships traveling to Sydney, Australia, Singapore, Bangkok, and several Pacific Islands. Mike also spent 25 years in Seattle, Washington, working as a mechanic, machinist, and master carpenter.

Mike has spent his last two years in Montague with his family.

He is survived by: his mother, Pat; father, Stan; and his brother, Chris.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the distant future.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike's name to the Heart Association of West Michigan.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
