Mr. Michael Vincent Palomar, age 52, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017. He was born September 21, 1964, in Chicago, IL to Vincent and Margaret (Strmiska) Palomar.  He was formerly employed as a welder at the John Deere Corporation. Mike also served in the US Air Force Reserves. Michael's hobbies included bicycle repair, building things with Legos, collecting comic books and car magazines. He was an accomplished artist producing paintings of all types. Auto mechanics was also a passion of Mike's. He participated in high school sports, especially track and field.

Michael is survived by one son: Maximillian Palomar of Alion, IL; his father Vincent and mother Margaret Daleen (Strmiska) Palomar of Pentwater; one sister: Roberta (Ricardo) Munoz of Geneva, IL.

The Graveside Service for Mr. Palomar will be Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Pere Marquette Catholic Cemetery in Ludington with Deacon Leonard C. Luscomb officiating.
