Milan "Mike" Sell, 82, of Whitehall, passed away February 27, 2024, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence in Muskegon, due to a prolonged illness. He was born June 30, 1941, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Milan and Margaret Sell.

Mike had a successful 33 year career at General Electric in Fort Wayne, Indiana, before moving to Whitehall, Michigan, in 2000, to marry the love of his life, Karen Kennebeck Van Dam. Mike enjoyed Lake Michigan, classical music, MSU sports, and his grandchildren, John (Katlyn), Adam (Kaleigh), Bailey, Jackson, Jayson, Sarah, Emily, Grant, and Paul; along with the grand-dogs.

Mike is survived by: his wife, Karen; step-sons, Vince (Maria) Van Dam of Nashville, Tennessee, James (Katie) Van Dam of Whitehall, Michigan, and Tony (Paula) Van Dam of East Lansing, Michigan.

Mike was preceded in death by: his parents; and brothers, Steve and John.

In accordance with Mike's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
