Mrs. Milda Jane DuShane, age 76, of Walkerville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. She was born May 14, 1935, in Grand Rapids to Russell and Mildred (Reed) Crusan. She married Clarence "Al" DuShane, Jr. on June 29, 1958, in Grand Rapids; he preceded her in death in January 2009 after 51 years of marriage. Mrs. DuShane was a homemaker with a green thumb, who enjoyed sewing, knitting, entertaining, and playing with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time at the cottage which later became their home in Walkerville. She attended Walkerville United Methodist Church.

Milda is survived by one daughter, Denise (fiancé Robert Miller) Norden of Greenville; three sons, Randy (Chris) DuShane of Marne, Bryan DuShane of Walkerville, and Kevin (Renee) DuShane of Grand Haven; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her two brothers, Jack (Kathy) Crusan of Pierson and Larry (Shirley) Crusan of Rockford, also survive.

Memorial services for Mrs. DuShane will be Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Walkerville United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Worley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at King Funeral Home. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Activity Fund at Oceana County Medical Care Facility.
