Obituary

Mrs. Mildred M. Graham, age 85, of Hart entered eternity Wednesday, March 18, 2009. She was born in Muskegon Heights on October 2, 1923 to John and Tilly (Buniak) Matuz. On June 9, 1951, she married Gerald T. Graham in Muskegon. Mrs. Graham was a legal secretary and also employed as a secretary at Hart High School. She was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church and the Oceana Singers. Mrs. Graham was very active in the schools, community, and church. Her interests included playing cribbage, reading and golfing, where she had a hole in one on the 12th hole at the Oceana Golf Club. Most of all she enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events. Mrs. Graham is survived by her children, Geri (Garry) Benko of Blissfield, MI, Jeffrey T. Graham of Grand Rapids, Stephen J. Graham of Winston Salem, NC, Peri (Peter) Lundberg of Pentwater, Timothy J. (Kathy) Graham of Mesa, AZ, Gregory A. (Kim) Graham of Wyoming, MI, Glenn J. (Jill) Graham of Ludington; sixteen grandchildren, Melissa (Todd) Waite of Alamagordo, NM, Eli (Natalie) Benko of Blissfield, MI, Zachary (Jessica) Benko of Aurora, IL, Kyleigh (Seth) Conley of Plainwell, MI, Jeremy Lundberg of Gulf Shores, AL, Kenneth (Candace) Lundberg of Mt. Pleasant, Evan Lundberg of Ft. Bragg, NC, Tyler Lundberg of Foley, AL, Staci (Daniel) Cerminaro of Ludington, Angela Lundberg of Pentwater, Dillon Graham of Mesa, AZ, Jordan Graham of Mesa, AZ, Cody Meisen of Wyoming, MI, Rachel Graham of Ludington, Joseph Graham of Ludington, Amelia Graham of Ludington; three great grandchildren, Evie Waite, Walter Waite, Isabella Lundberg; two sisters, Anne Hartsema of Fremont, MI, Sophie Smith of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, The Honorable Gerald T. Graham on May 28, 2006, one brother, Joseph Matty. The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Gregory Catholic Church with Fr. Ronald Schneider presiding. Interment will be in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorials contributions may be given to the Hart Booster Club.
