Mrs. Myra N. Verschueren, age 74 of Pentwater passed away Friday, March 20, 2015. She was born on March 30, 1940 in Montgomery, Louisiana to Ivan B. Eacker and Ora Fredieu. Myra married Robert Lee Verschueren Sr. in Muskegon on August 18, 1956 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1991. She was employed as a laborer at Pentwater Wire Products and later at the River HouseTrading Post in Pentwater. Mrs. Verschueren enjoyed needle work of any type, canning and preserving fruits and vegetables, and gardening. She loved her excursions to the casinos and was an avid NASCAR fan. She loved her family and was dedicated to them always. Her family includes, three sons, Robert (Pattie) Verschueren Jr of Richmond, MO, Donald (Cindy) Verschueren of Crystal Valley, Daniel Verschueren of Pentwater; two daughters, Tamara (David) Moore of Muskegon, Regina (David) Bourdage of Scottville; nine grandchildren, Robert Verschueren III, Barbara Billings, Kylie Ebner, Sam Verschueren, April Berklund, David Moore, Christine Bourdage, Jodi Turgeon, Haley Alvesteffer; eight great grandchildren, Robert Verschueren IV, Jacob Verschueren, Justice Verschueren, Ethan Billings, Dylan Billings, Rylan Turgeon, Madison Turgeon, Austin Berklund; three brothers, Larry (Joan) Eacker of Muskegon, Kenneth (Pat) Eacker of Wyoming, MI, Melvin (Becky) Eacker of Muskegon, one sister in law, Eva Eacker of Muskegon. She is also survived by her faithful companion James Watts Sr. of Bullhead City, AZ. Myra was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Joseph and brother Leslie Eacker. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Verschueren will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the King Funeral Home-Hart with Pastor Becca Wieringa officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the King Funeral Home-Hart.
