Mr. Neil Thomas 'Tom' Dillingham, age 87, of Hart, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. He was born January 3, 1928, in Hart, to Waldo and Hazel (Riggs) Dillingham. He graduated from Hart High School with the class of 1946. Tom served his country with the United States Army. He married Constance Elizabeth Stevens on June 25, 1949, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, in Hart. He was employed with the Michigan Department of Transportation for thirty years.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Jane (Jeff) Gleason, of Hudsonville; his sons, James (Trudi) Dillingham, of Mears, and Thomas (Sally) Dillingham, of Woodland Park, Co. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Julie Morin, Katie Gleason, Melanie Phillips, Laura Gleason, Jamie Dillingham, Jarod Dillingham, Matthew Dillingham, Benjamin Dillingham, and great-grandchildren, Maya Morin, Zachary Morin and Neva Akinya. He is also survived by his sister, Louise McCarty, and his brother, John Dillingham. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Norma Jean Freeman and Mary Ellen Miller. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Connie Dillingham, on November 22, 2013.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Dillingham will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart with Fr. Thomas Bolster officiating. Interment will take place at Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
