Nestor Fonseca-Vazquez, 45, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Manistee.  He was born February 26, 1979, in Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico, the son of Agustin and Reyna (Vazquez) Fonseca.

Nestor was currently employed at Sanders Meats, in Custer, where he had been working for over 20 years.  He was a beloved husband, stepfather and brother, who loved spending time with his family.

On January 28, 2023, in Ludington, Nestor married Darlene Perez who survives him.  He is also survived by: his father, Agustin Fonseca; his step-children, Demika (Courtney) Garcia, Rolando (Megan) Garcia, Jasmin Garcia, Ryon Hupp and Layla Garcia; 6 sisters, 3 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nestor was preceded in death by his mother, Reyna Fonseca-Vazquez.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel in Ludington.
