Nicholas Whitehill, age 19, of Muskegon and formerly of Hart, died Thursday, March 10, 2011. He was born October 12, 1991 in Shelby, the son of Roy B. Whitehill and the late Mary Jo (Vaillancourt) Whitehill. He attended Hart High School and graduated with the Class of 2009. He had worked at the Open Hearth Grill in Hart and was currently employed at Cleaning Equipment Direct in Muskegon. Nicholas enjoyed listening to music and cooking and was an avid reader. He will always be remembered for his witty humor, his loving spirit, and his friendly smile. He was an active member of the North Muskegon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where he enjoyed door-to-door ministry. He had many family and friends who enjoyed his company and who will miss him dearly.

Nicholas is survived by his father, Roy Whitehill of Whitehall; brother, Ryan L. (Elena) Whitehill of Rothbury; grandmother, Lola Vaillancourt of Sterling, MI; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Whitehill, grandparents Charles and Evelyn Whitehill, and grandfather Jerome Vaillancourt.
