Mr. Oscar J. Bruck, Jr., age 79, of Shelby, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017, at his home. He was born March 13, 1937, in Monroe County, Michigan to Oscar and Helena (Young) Bruck, Sr. He was employed as a Tool and Die Maker at Ford Motor Company and Hoover Universal. Oscar married the former Linda Young in Ohio on June 20, 1975. He was also a military veteran serving in the US Army and was a member of the Ferry Veterans. Oscar enjoyed farming, raising cattle, and hay. He also like to cut his own wood and lending a helping hand to those who needed one. Gun collecting, shooting and woodworking were also his hobbies.
Oscar is survived by his wife: Linda Bruck of Shelby, one daughter: Joyce (Mitch) Tittle of Monroe, MI and three sons: Troy Bruck of Shelby, Dennis (Darla) Bruck of Maybee, MI and Shawn Bruck of Monroe, MI; eight grandchildren, Alicia (Tim) Allen, Michelle (Josh) Tittle, Amanda (Travis) Tittle, Aaron Tittle, Amy (Rob) Bruck, Austin Bruck, Rachel Bruck, Molly Bruck. Ten great grandchildren. Two sisters: Rosemarie Bruck of Maybee, MI, Helena Shanteau of Monroe, MI. and two brothers: Frederick (Marge) Bruck of Shelby and Ronald Bruck of Canton, MI; three sisters in law, Lois Bruck of Maybee, MI, Rosemary Bruck of Carlton, MI, Pat Earhart of Shelby. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Arthur Bruck, Anthony Bruck, Charles Bruck, Arnold Bruck, sister, Kathleen Bruck, Great Grandson, Alexander Kramer.
The Funeral Service for Mr. Bruck will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 2:00 pm at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Hart with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating. Interment will be in the North Ferry Cemetery. Military Rites will be provided by the Ferry Veterans.Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
