Obituary

Pamela Kay (Moore) Hansen entered her eternal life on March 21, 2023, very unexpectedly.

Pam was born June 24, 1956, to Harvey and Lucille (Budzynski) Moore, with Harvey exclaiming to the Nurse 'Not another one!' (Pam being the third and final girl.)  Pam had a wonderfully magic childhood visiting her dad with her mom when Harvey was traveling, spending time on family farms, and trying to annoy her older sisters, Judy and Linda.

During high school, Pam earned the nickname 'Bird' (if you know you know.)  When Pam graduated in 1974 she joined the Army and was a radio specialist stationed in Germany. During her time in the service, she met her first love and they settled in Alabama. Their flame burned very brightly, but all too soon burned out. When she returned to Michigan, she worked at the Whitehall nursing home and met her second love, this one too burned out quickly, but not before creating Nathan and Justin, her blonde haired boys. At last, through mutual friends, she met her final love. This love affair produced Zachary, her baby and last child. This epic relationship saw a stint at Michigan Tech, a move to Virgina and back, camping, and trips to the other side of the globe. It doesn't seem quite fair that they did not get to finish the journey together as the fire was starting to burn bright again.

Pam is survived by: her husband of 35 years, Ty; children, Nathan, Justin, Zachary Sr., and very special "adopted" daughter, Amanda; grandchildren, Jace, Caleb, Wyatt, Eli, Zoe, Hunter, and Zachary Jr.; sister, Judy (Roger); fathers-in-law, Ron (Teresa) and Dale; her beautiful daughters-in-Law, Chivon and Kate; brother-in-law, Dan (Linda); sister-in-law, Torri (Dan), Penny (Jim), and Kim; exceptionally close confidant, pal, friend, and sister-in-law, Tammy (Butch); her furry boys, Oliver, Scooby Doo, and Jax, who will forever search for mom and that special cuddle; as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who also feel the empty space that now replaces the fire.

Pam was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Linda; mother-in-law, Carlene; nephew, Scott; and many furry friends, especially Rocky – the chillest Jack Russel Terrier ever.

"While I can no longer touch your face you are forever etched on my heart."
