Patricia "Pat" Anne Clem, 90, of Traverse City, died Monday, January 20, 2025, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  She was born June 9, 1934, in Traverse City, the daughter of Zack and Louise (Lyon) Stocking.

While working as a waitress at J&G Lanes, in Traverse City, Pat met Jim Clem.  The two were married and spent many years successfully operating the bowling alley together.  In addition to being a loving wife, Pat was the best mother and grandmother to both her blood family and chosen family.  Her home on Spider Lake was always a gathering place for holidays and family functions.  You always knew you were welcome in Pat's home and that she would feed you and offer you her famous monster cookies.  Pat also loved to fish and dance, but more than anything, Pat loved her family.

On December 15, 1971, in Traverse City, Pat married James David Clem, the love of her life, who survives her.  She is also survived by: her children, Kerri (Gary) Hamilton of Traverse City, Steven (Jackie) Powell of Bellaire, Terri Lynn (Howard) Andresen of Traverse City, Debra (Jim Forrester) Strang of Traverse City, Ellie Burgess of Florida, Cari (Kerry) Neufeld of Florida, Cindy (Eric) Christiansen of Traverse City, Robin Kennedy of Honor, Michael (Kathy) Clem of Kingsley, Stephanie (Chris) Debortoli of Traverse City, and Elizabeth (Alex) Piluras of Traverse City; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and siblings, Carolyn Greenman of Traverse City, Claudia Haines of Traverses City, Roger Stocking of Detour, Rhonda Tompkins of Wisconsin, and Bruce Stocking of Traverse City.

Pat was preceded in death by: her parents; and by her granddaughter, Alexandria Piluras.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, 511 S. Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan  49686, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  A reception will follow at the funeral home.  Interment will take place in the Inland Township Cemetery, in Interlochen, in the spring.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Father Fred Foundation or to the Women's Resource Center.
