IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Cranmer
November 15, 1960 – November 15, 2020
Patricia Ann Cranmer, 60 years old, of Grand Rapids, MI, went to meet her Father in Heaven on November 15th, 2020. She was born November 15, 1960, to Marge and Richard LaPree in Shelby.
In 1980, she met James Cranmer, and they wed on April 14, 1984, going on to have two children, Katrina and Kevin.
When Patricia became a mother for the first time and had Katrina, she decided to dedicate her life to being a wonderful mother, even more so when she had Kevin. Patricia excelled at propping up Kevin and Katrina and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives; whether that was helping them through the loss of their grandparents or supporting them through more exciting times like marriage and grandkids, she made it her mission to make sure they had the best life possible. That is exactly what she did.
Patricia worked as a waitress before Katrina and Kevin, and after the children were raised she developed a career as an optician. In a short time, she worked her way into management. She always excelled at making everyone feel special, even her customers. Patricia always left a great impression on people.
To say that we will miss her is an understatement. She was the glue for us all, she was home. She loved Christmas; she always put her tree up months before it was even time to start talking about Christmas. We all adored this about her; this Christmas will be especially difficult.
We love her and we will miss her greatly. If love alone could have saved her, she would have lived forever.
She is survived by: her two children, Katrina (Ali) Tahir and Kevin (Samantha) Cranmer; her brothers, Rick LaPree, Rob LaPree, Larry (Mary) LaPree, Greg (Diane) LaPree; and her sister, Barbara Anderson. She has four grandchildren, Jordyn, Noah, Jacob, & Jaxson. She loved her grandchildren; they were the loves of her life.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2020, at White Lake Wesleyan Church, 503 S. Division Street, Whitehall, MI 49461. Interment will follow in Ferry Township South Cemetery.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
