Mrs. Patricia L. Flanery, age 68 of Walkerville, died Sunday, January 4, 2009. She was born August 25, 1940 in Elbridge Township to Clare and Pauline (Verschueren) Brimmer. She was a graduate of Hart High School in 1959. Pat married Robert Flanery on February 8, 1958 at the Elbridge Community Church. She was a homemaker, but had worked at Scottville Variety Store. She will be greatly missed by her family that includes, her husband of 50 years Robert of Walkerville; children, Randy (Bonnie) Flanery of Elbridge Twp., James (Karen) Flanery of Walkerville, Lynn (Victor) Sibley of Walkerville; Pam (Steve) Contreras of Elbridge Twp; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; her mother, Pauline Brimmer of Hart; brother, Chuck (Linda) Brimmer of Hart; mother in law, Mabel Flanery of Mears. She was preceded in death by a grandson Zebulen James Flanery, her father, Clare "Bus" Brimmer on February 8, 2008, father in law, Stanley Flanery. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Flanery will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from the Elbridge Community Church with Pastor Dennis Hintz officiating. Interment will be in Colfax Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Crystal Valley Care Fund.
