Mrs. Patricia Lucille Kanouff, age 85, of Hart, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was born April 25, 1929, in Hornell, NY to Floyd and Agnes (Eastman) Bunce. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, NY and on May 28, 1948, Patricia married Donald Kanouff in Niagara Falls, NY; they were married sixty-six years. Patricia was a homemaker and employed as a postal letter carrier, and drove school bus for Whitehall Schools. She and her husband owned and operated a foster care home, worked as a census worker, and also was a Sunday school teacher at her church where she was a member. Patricia was the matriarch of a five generation family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Donald Kanouff of Hart; three daughters, Debra (David) Dykman of Hesperia, Pamela (Terry) Segelstrom of Hart, Becky (Brian) Irvin of Hart; and one son, Dale (Connie) Kanouff of Muskegon; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Dawn (Kanouff) Kessler, June 2008; three brothers, Douglas, Theodore, and Dale Bunce; and granddaughter, Lacey (Kessler) Lee.

The Memorial services for Mrs. Kanouff will be Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 11:00 am at Hart Wesleyan Church in Hart with Pastor David Gray officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Hart Wesleyan Church, Hart, MI. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Hart Wesleyan Church, 3757 W. Polk Road, Hart MI 49420.
