Patricia A. Wayman, 72, of Ludington, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Ludington. She was born July 30, 1938 in Muskegon to Guy and Edna (Monroe) Wayman. Pat was a member of "People First" an advocacy group for people with disabilities.

She was the 2007 recipient of the "Mike Marrison Award" for outstanding leadership and contributions to the community. She worked 30 years at Dimensions Unlimited and participated in Special Olympics. She had attended Ludington United Methodist Church.

Patricia is survived by her son, Michael Wayman; one brother, Edward (Sam) Wayman of Walkerville; two sisters, Barbara (Jasper) Cunningham and Thelma (John) Baker of Branch; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Marvin Wayman. According to her wishes, there will be no services.
