Patrick Dennis Murphy, 67, of Kingsley, died Friday, July 3, 2021, at his home.  He was born September 11, 1953, in Detroit, the son of James and Elsie (Haiser) Murphy.

Patrick worked as a social worker for Community Mental Health, creating many lasting and meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients alike.  He truly loved his work and his clients.  In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed playing golf and going fishing.  He was also a gun enthusiast.  Patrick was a good man who will be missed by many.

Patrick is survived by: his son, Jake (Teri) Murphy of Kingsley; several grandchildren, including Shay, Riley, and Bailey Murphy of Kingsley; and his former spouse, Ramona Henry.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and by his grandchild, Baby Murphy.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Kingsley Chapel.
