Paul Joseph Vanden Heuvel, 65, of Hart, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at home. He was born July 13, 1953, in Hart, the son of Joseph and Theda (Cummins) Vanden Heuvel.

Paul was a friendly guy who enjoyed going out for coffee and talking with his family and friends.

Paul is survived by: his parents, Joseph and Theda Vanden Heuvel of Hart; his brothers, Art Vanden Heuvel of Hart and Don (Beth) Vanden Heuvel of Lansing; his sisters, Julie VandenHeuvel of Muskegon, and Sheila (Phil) DeHoag of Muskegon; 2 nieces, Melissa (Bert Kochendorfer) Vanden Heuvel of Lansing, and Amy (Mike) Wisniewski of DeWitt; his nephew, Zach DeHoag of Muskegon; and his great-niece, Amelia Wisniewski.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72 ^nd Avenue, Hart, with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, the Crystal Valley Care Fund or Love, Inc. in Shelby.
