Paula E. Riddle, age 60, of Hart, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born to Paul and Wanda Johnson on April 4, 1950 in Hart, Michigan.

Her marriage to Larry Riddle on October 1, 1977 lasted for twenty-five years until his passing on November 12, 2002. She was previously married to Gerald Gilbert.

She resided in Hart for the majority of her life. While raising her children, she was a homemaker and child care provider for her nieces and nephews. She formed long lasting friendships while attending Hart Public Schools and working at Gales IGA, the Oceana County Sheriff's Department and McDonald's of Hart. Her passions included cooking, baking, arts and crafts, camping, traveling and socializing with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Paul (Chaunnee) Gilbert, Kenneth Riddle; grandchildren, Jarred Gilbert and Morgan Gilbert; sisters, Rossla Gilbert, Karen Domin and Irene (Marc) Keigley; her brother, Karl Anthonissen; mother-in-law, Carol Bonter; several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Riddle; brother, Mark Anthonissen; and father-in-law, Ken Riddle.

A memorial service for Paula will be held Saturday, December 11, 2001 at 11:00 am at Hart Congregational Church of Christ with Pastor Lorraine Boucon officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
