Mr. Pedro Camargo, age 88, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at his home. He was born April 20, 1928, in San Antonio, TX to Vincent and Candelaria (Gonzales) Camargo. Pedro married Mary Flatt on January 27, 1950 in Detroit; they were married sixty-six years. He worked as a factory worker for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit from where he retired.

Pedro Camargo had several passions throughout his life. He loved the farm life and couldn't wait for both hunting and fishing seasons. He was a fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. He loved to dance to music and play the harmonica. Above all of these passions, it was his wife Mary, who was the center of his universe. The sun rose and set on Mary and he couldn't wait until the next time he could spoil her and put a smile on her face. It was this love ignited between the two of them that resulted in a beautiful family, his proudest accomplishment.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Mary Camargo; seven daughters, Candy (Joe) Sarazin, Bernice Trevino, Cecelia Camargo, Helen (Dave) Towne, Virginia Camargo, Frances Fawley and Lupe (Scott) Broner; four sons, Vincent (Mary) Camargo, Pedro (Cindy) Camargo Jr., Johnny Camargo, Tony (Krystal) Camargo; thirty-eight grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren; one brother, Vincent Camargo; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Paul Camargo, and, Antonio Camargo; two grandchildren, Kelly Camargo, and Tonia Sarazin; one son-in-law, Dave Fawley; one sister, Francesca Contreras, and two brothers, Johnny Camargo and Paul (Mary) Camargo.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Mr. Camargo will be offered Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Weare with Father Phillip Sliwinski presiding.   Interment will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 pm. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Camargo family for funeral expenses.
